Welcome to Hornsea & District U3A
Visit us at our monthly meeting
We are Hornsea and District U3A, a member of a national organisation that welcomes people, usually over fifty and retired from full time employment, to join together to learn from each other and to enjoy social activities which are of common interest.
Click here to view a message from Third Age Trust which sounds interesting. They are intending to carry out some research into how our local shopping streets have changed since Covid-19. They would like 5-10 members from each U3A to do this. We could take each side of Newbegin, Market Place and Southgate, The Greenway, and The Freeport for example. There may be other areas I can't think of at the moment. Instructions will be be posted out early in September and they would like the research to be completed that month.
If you think you would be interested please contact Jane Hardman at email@example.com
The U3A have created online discussion forums in order to help members keep active and connected during the current crisis.
Due to the current situation all future meetings of the U3A including Interest Groups are cancelled until further notice. Once there is some clarification to the outcome of the pandemic we shall be in a position to inform you when future activities can resume.
Payment of subscriptions will also be suspended until the U3A resumes.
In the meantime take good care of yourselves and follow government guidelines.
