Bird Watching
The group meets on the morning of the fourth Monday of the month. We plan to visit the main birdwatching sites in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire and maybe have the occasional ‘special’ away day to nature reserves further afield. Our area provides wonderful opportunities because of the wide variety of different habitats - wetlands, woodlands, coast, cliffs, nature reserves. On our doorstep we have world class sites such as the Spurn Peninsula and Bempton Cliffs.
No one in the group is an expert but we hope that by sharing our knowledge, skills, experiences and by looking and learning we are better able to enjoy our resident and visiting birds. Anyone sharing our interest is welcome to join us - the only equipment needed is a pair of binoculars and some sturdy shoes.

This group is nearing its maximum practical capacity and you may be asked to join a waiting list or if you desire you could start a second group.
