Gardening Group
The u3a Garden Group welcomes anyone with a love of gardens and who enjoys sharing knowledge and pleasure in all kinds of plants.
We get together monthly on varied days and plan outings to places of interest, have occasional speakers, plant swaps and other activities.
Our venues vary from members gardens to local cafes, garden centres, library etc...
We make regular use of the NGS Handbook which provides us with fascinating gardens to visit. We aim to limit our travels to less than a 2 hour journey from Hornsea. Sometimes we travel independently by cars but often we use the HART minibus. This limits our numbers to 16 on the garden visit and we pay a deposit per person for a place on the minibus.
Our visits have been to gardens large and small all providing us with inspiration for our own gardens and lovely afternoons often with tea and cake!

Avril will be collecting annual subscription of £10.
